April Presentation: FarCry Development Essentials Primer

Our upcoming meeting is April 4th and our very own Ezra Parker will be presenting to us on Far Cry. The title of his session is called: FarCry Development Essentials and you can read his primer below:

FarCry is a ColdFusion web application framework that facilitates rapid
construction of content-rich, easily maintainable websites. This
presentation is an introduction to the FarCry platform from the
developer's perspective, focusing primarily upon the FarCry content
object model and presentation layer. We will review the essential
building blocks of a FarCry site, as well as the productivity
enhancement tools and utilities that are provided by the FarCry system.
Time permitting, the session will conclude with a live site-building
demonstration showing the creation of a FarCry copy of the IECFUG blog.

It definitely seems like an interesting session. We will also hand out more free t-shirts and some book raffles. 

What we really do at our CFUGs?

This past friday we had our FLEX/AIR launch and it was awesome. We had tons of food an a Wii for some nice  competition. Here are some videos from the launch party.
